I describe myself as the pain of reality. I’m an author of a fragmentary autobiography.

I’m also a former rap artist who refuses to sell his soul to the industry. I’ve dedicated my existence to sharing what I believe is the truth regarding worldly and social matters in our urban communities.

Throughout my life I’ve trekked over some of the harshest roads, and with this experience I firmly believe that I can make a change for the better, for us all.

We look at our reflections in the mirror to view our beauty, but when we discover blemishes we search for solutions to mask or cure whatever deformities may have occurred between the times of our last analysis. After applying whatever makeup’s to hide our scares, or creams to suppress our bumps, most of us are pleased with the results. One of our concepts at Mirror Mirror Magazine is to teach individuals how to look beyond the surface reflection that you see everyday and to explore your inner beings.  View the reflections of your hearts; it’s the key to growth, development and success within.

Everyone has a story to tell.  Everyone has a life that they've lived.  Everyone has a song to sing.  Everyone has something that they can give.

There have been numerous times where I see someone in a position that I feel I could have fulfilled better, or times when I have been passed up for opportunities and those blessings been given to people that I felt did not deserve them.  But throughout all my trials and tribulations, I have learned that everything happens for a reason.

My life has had bumps in the road just like many others'.  I have gone through some treacherous dungeons to get to a small mountaintop similar to many of our readers.  But the important thing is that I'm here today; strong, beautiful, talented, driven, and outspoken.  As cliché as it may sound the two rules I have learned to live my life by are first: What does not kill you only makes you stronger and second, you get whatever God means for you to have .

That is what this magazine is about.  Yes, many of you have been passed up for what you thought may have been a wonderful opportunity in advancing your creative careers.  However, do remember that if you did not receive that blessing then it was not meant for you.  Either something better is in store for you or your time has not yet come.  Be patient but persistent.  Be outspoken yet humble.  And be driven but not overbearing.  And most of all don't let anything deter you from your dreams.

The purpose of this magazine in my opinion is to give those who have felt as I described above the opportunity to shine, be recognized, and respected for their talents.  So seize this opportunity and make the most Mirror Mirror.  Remember everyone has something to give.
